Privacy Policy

1. The short version

Your private keys and wallet data stay on your computer, encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The website collects only what it needs to verify that you may download the app.

2. Discord verification

When you download, you sign in with Discord. We request the “identify” and “guilds.members.read” scopes, which let us read your Discord user ID and check whether you hold an eligible role in our server.

We never receive your Discord password. The short-lived access token Discord returns is kept only inside an encrypted, HTTP-only cookie in your browser, for at most five minutes, so the download can be re-verified. It is not saved in any database.

3. Cookies and local storage

Besides the short-lived download cookies, the site stores your chosen theme and wallpaper in your browser’s local storage. These never leave your device.

4. Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less page analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not build a profile of you or track you across other sites.

5. The desktop app

The app talks directly to the RPC endpoints, relays and services you configure. Those providers receive your transactions and IP address under their own privacy policies. ForgeMint does not upload your keys.

6. Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to hello@forgemint.app. You can also revoke ForgeMint’s access at any time in Discord under User Settings → Authorized Apps.
